On Monday 12 November, Mrs Lesley Silvester retired after 18 years as Clerk to Metfield Parish Council. Metfield is grateful for her unstinting efforts over that time to support both the Parish Council and the village – always efficient and always putting in that little bit extra over and above her statutory duties.
After November’s meeting, the PC marked the occasion with a small party. Peter Mortimer, Chair of the Parish Council, made a presentation to Lesley and they all enjoyed a glass of wine and a piece of Thank You cake together.
