Metfield Stores uses local produce wherever possible because we believe it is important to invest in and support local enterprises. Since the Stores became a community-run business, we have had a loyal band of volunteers and shoppers who have kept it going. It is only right that we reinvest in the community when we can.

Local sourcing is about understanding and being at the heart of the local community. We aim to stock products that are made, grown or reared where we live. We look for goods that have a local taste or delicacy. We know our customers recognise this and we are often guided by requests for special items.
