Exciting news for all organic food lovers and people who care where their food comes from and how it is grown!
Local entrepreneur Lisa Morris has been working hard to get ready for the launch of her new business based at Hattens Farm Nurseries. Anglian Organics will grow and supply organic fruit, vegetables, beans and pulses. Lisa is already operating a limited delivery service for veg boxes (see website anglianorganics.co.uk) but very soon you will be able to see each week lists of produce available and place orders either for home delivery or for collection from the Veg Shed.
Lisa is focused on making her business expansion a success and hopes to open the doors of the Veg Shed on Wednesday 1 May. Do call in and see her there. The official launch of Anglian Organics, however, will form part of the 40th Anniversary Celebrations at Hattens Farm Nurseries during the weekend of 6–7 July and both parties are very excited about this collaboration. ‘I’m passionate in my belief that everyone should have access to buy locally grown produce,’ says Lisa, ‘and I’ll be working with other organic farmers in the region so that we can provide a diverse and interesting range of fresh organic produce all year round.’
